Honors Alternative Spring Break (HASB)
Honors Alternative Spring Break (HASB) allows you to have a chance to explore a location through service with your W.A. Franke Honors College peers. The week-long service trip is paired with a 3-unit Spring course designed to inspire lifelong civic engagement through an enriched understanding of diverse perspectives on complex societal issues by interacting with a diverse range of participants and community members. The course meets Monday’s at 4:00 - 5:50 pm in the Honors Village for the entirety of the Spring semester.
In Spring of 2022 we will be going to four locations and focusing on several systematic issues:
Whiteriver, AZ: Sustainability and Indigenous Cultures

The HASB Application opens September 1
Round 1 closes October 1
Round 2 closes November 1
All participants will be notified of their status by November 15.
