In this course we will explore the research and contributions of University of Arizona women across various disciplines. Each week, students will prepare for class by listening to a podcast episode in which a UA faculty member is interviewed about their work. In class, the woman they listened to will come in and discuss their research, and answer questions. The end of semester project will be to prepare a short interview to conduct with a woman doing interesting work at UA. They will conduct the interview, which could become a podcast episode. The podcast we will use is Plucky Ladies, which is Dr. Jess Kapp's podcast.
