(It’s useful for everyone, really—whether you’re in classes or creating a business.) You will learn why that feedback loop is so important and one way to do it in this workshop. Sep 16 Image Alabama Study Away: Explore the Experience 5 – 6 p.m., Sept. 16, 2025 Are you interested in the Study Away program offered in the Spring? Come to this session where you'll hear from past participants about their experiences on the one week trip to Montgomery, Alabama where they had the opportunity to visit historic sites and speak with leaders and activists that are dedicated to understanding the impact of enslavement on the civil rights movement now and in the past. Sep 16 Image Franke Honors Transfer Advisory Board of Students Meeting 5 – 6 p.m., Sept. 16, 2025 TABS is a transfer student group that meets monthly to discuss issues that impact the Franke Honors transfer student experience. The group is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where transfer students feel welcome, and their contributions are acknowledged and celebrated. TABS is always looking for pathways for transfer students to better integrate into the Franke Honors, University of Arizona, and local Tucson communities through academic, social, and philanthropic endeavors. Dr. Feldman will present a survey of her work as a public anthropologist and visual ethnographer, focusing on her central research questions related to identity, gender, and incarceration.
