Traveling abroad is not just a lifetime highlight – it’s your way to become a more informed global citizen.
Building an understanding of other cultures and peoples, navigating unfamiliar environments successfully, and learning about oneself in an unfamiliar environment: these are all benefits to studying abroad.
The W.A. Franke Honors College offers honors-specific opportunities for going abroad. These begin after the first year with our Honors Trips, designed with first year students in mind.
Franke Honors also promotes a range of other study abroad experiences that are especially well-suited to our students and allow students to earn honors credit.
“The Franke Honors College offers study abroad options that would not be available without being a member. I was able to experience everything Italy had to offer without worrying about getting behind on my graduation plan.”
Nylee, Nutritional Science and Pre-Physiology.
