We have taken inspiration from his words and images and present to you our own: original folktales for today and tomorrow, student work accomplished in Prof. Patrick Baliani’s W.A. Franke Honors College current seminar, “Legends in the Landscapes.” May 01 Image HHV Speaker Series-Dr. Jeffrey Rein 6 – 7:30 p.m., May 1, 2025 UA Professor of Pediatrics Jeffrey Rein will report on his work in global health which includes his recent experiences as a hospitalist pediatrician in Kenya, Chad, and the Central African Republic. He will reflect on the dismantling of USAID by the Trump administration and it's implications for the health and well being of women and children in Africa. May 06 Image Franke Honors Transfer Advisory Board of Students Meeting 5 – 6 p.m., May 6, 2025 TABS is a transfer student group that meets monthly to discuss issues that impact the Franke Honors transfer student experience. The group is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where transfer students feel welcome, and their contributions are acknowledged and celebrated. TABS is always looking for pathways for transfer students to better integrate into the Franke Honors, University of Arizona, and local Tucson communities through academic, social, and philanthropic endeavors.
