Spring 2025
This seminar is reserved for students going on the Franke Honors study abroad trip to Greece in Summer 2025. This 1-unit seminar in the Spring is designed to prepare us for our summer study abroad journey. During the course, we will focus on forming a strong class community while delving into Classical Greek myths and exploring contemporary retellings of these ancient stories. Additionally, we will practice place-based writing and outline the larger writing projects we will undertake in Greece. Through a variety of creative writing prompts and short readings, we'll also learn about the regional geography, history, flora, and fauna of the locations we'll be visiting in Greece.
