In this course, student teams collaborate to apply transdisciplinary innovation methods to a multifaceted brief from government, industry, or community partners. From scoping and proposal development to research, concept creation, and experimentation, the journey culminates in a proof-of-concept for their proposed innovation. Emphasizing real-world transformation requirements and sustainable strategies, students will grasp the vast potential of their innovative solutions. The course empowers students to navigate complex industry challenges, refine their project design skills in multi-disciplinary teams, and critically evaluate project outcomes for various stakeholders. Additionally, participants will glean insights into transdisciplinary innovation across sectors, effectively communicate recommendations, influence key decision-makers, and enrich the broader innovation community with their unique contributions.
