Showcasing the summit of Honors College student achievement!
Honors Pinnacle brings together two outstanding events that elevate exceptional Honors student work: the Honors Pinnacle Showcase and the Thesis Fast Pitch Competition. Each event provides a unique platform for Honors students to share their hard work.
The Honors Pinnacle Showcase features the work of Honors students from their first-year to their senior year. First-year students who have engaged in a meaningful research experience of their choice and developed professional skills to think critically and effectively communicate research information. Also, featured is an impressive demonstration of the breadth and depth of Honors student work and engagement experiences, representing the boundless ability of Honors students' interdisciplinary scholarly inquiry.
The Thesis Fast Pitch Competition invites graduating Honors students to share their Thesis or Capstone experiences in the form of a two-minute live "Fast Pitch". It is a comprehensive, yet concise response to the questions, "What is your Thesis or Capstone?" and "Why does it matter?" Today's competition will feature live pitches from the top ten submissions.
