Mar 04 Image Exploratory Mini Grant Office Hours 4 – 5 p.m., March 4, 2026 You've been working diligently on your Exploratory Mini Grant application as you head towards the 4/3 deadline but have a few lingering questions....what do you do? Pop on into these office hours with W.A. Franke Honors staff members for help! They'll be available to share examples of supplementary documents (statement and budgets), provide feedback on drafted documents, and/or answer any lingering questions.
Mar 04 Image Exploratory Mini Grant Application Workshop 5 – 6 p.m., March 4, 2026 This workshop is designed to prepare students to submit the Exploratory Mini Grant (EMG) application (due April 3rd). We will go over the application process, provide examples of statements of purpose and budgets, answer any lingering questions students may have about how to submit the best representation of their project.

May 05 Image Franke Honors Transfer Advisory Board of Students Meeting 5 – 6 p.m., May 5, 2026 TABS is a transfer student group that meets monthly to discuss issues that impact the Franke Honors transfer student experience. The group is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where transfer students feel welcome, and their contributions are acknowledged and celebrated. TABS is always looking for pathways for transfer students to better integrate into the Franke Honors, University of Arizona, and local Tucson communities through academic, social, and philanthropic endeavors.
May 01 Image Thesis Support Space 2 – 4 p.m., May 1, 2026 New this semester: the Franke Thesis Support Space! Every other Friday afternoon, Franke Honors will be providing a dedicated space for thesis students to work on their thesis, ask questions of a Franke Honors staff member, get access to resources, and connect with others. Every month will be themed towards parts of the thesis process and feature guided activity and insight from experts in that area. This time and space is open to seniors currently working on their thesis.

Apr 22 Image Franke Honors Pinnacle 1 – 3 p.m., April 22, 2026 Join us for Franke Honors Pinnacle, a signature event hosted by the W.A. Franke Honors College celebrating the outstanding research of our undergraduate students. This showcase features the Honors Thesis projects of graduating seniors, Quest research presentations, and creative video representations of other research projects. Outstanding work will be recognized with financial awards in multiple categories, including Quest projects, senior thesis research, and creative video presentations. Whether you’re presenting, attending, or serving as a judge, this is an opportunity to engage with the incredible scholarship happening within the Franke Honors community.
