Join the University of Arizona W.A. Franke Honors College for this special Honors Now: LIVE virtual webinar for Franke Honors alumni and friends.

Declarations of a planetary emergency and calls for environmental and social justice challenge us to find solutions to the interconnected risks of climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution and poverty.

In this presentation, Dr. Diana Liverman will explore the following questions: How can we stabilize the earth system and avoid environmental tipping points in ways that allow for an escape from poverty and hunger? Can we set science-based targets to keep us within safe planetary boundaries which also meet goals for international, intersectional, intergenerational, and interspecies justice?

We hope you’ll join us for this timely and important presentation on these grand challenges facing our planet.

Questions may be submitted ahead of time to Candice Crossey or you can submit questions during the live event via the Q&A feature.
