Whether you're exploring a Quest Project, Honors Thesis, or another research opportunity, the Spring 2025 Franke Honors Research Prep three-part workshop series will give you the tools to choose a topic, connect with a faculty mentor, and propose your project with confidence.

So, you’ve found a potential mentor—now what? Reaching out to a professor can feel intimidating, but don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! In this session, we’ll walk through:

• How to craft an effective email to faculty
• Tips for setting up a productive meeting
• The best way to ask a professor to be your mentor (without the awkwardness!)
