Dr. Ike Chinyere ‘17, ‘20, ‘23 
Ike Chinyere MD, PhD, is an award-winning cardiovascular physician-scientist who is currently completing his residency in internal medicine at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson. He completed his undergraduate degree in Honors Physiology, Summa Cum Laude, and his Doctor of Philosophy in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Arizona. His career goal is to practice clinical cardiac electrophysiology where he will care for patients with rhythm disorders and perform groundbreaking translational research as a NIH-funded investigator.

Lady Elli

Lady Dorothy Avila Elli 23 
Lady graduated in 2023 from the University of Arizona Franke Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was also a TRIALS Teaching Assistant, mentoring pre-law students at Harvard Law School, and NYU School of Law through the Advantage Testing Foundation. After completing her MPH, she plans to pursue a Juris Doctor (JD) and a master’s in public administration to advance global health law and policy.

Dr. Julia Leone 14 
Julia Leone PhD is the Manager of Research and Organizational Development at the Short Line Safety Institute. She manages the research and process improvement efforts for the organization. She transforms data into knowledge and action and is dedicated to her organization’s mission of improving the U.S. rail industry’s safety culture. She graduated from the University of Arizona Honors College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received her master's and PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the City University of New York in 2020.
