Above all else, this is a course on human psychology and to a lesser degree on personal finance strategy. The course focuses on our individual relationship with money and everything money represents for most of us: fear, safety, greed, generosity, attachment, freedom, comfort, and so on. Additionally, the course covers the basics of personal finance where we will learn about budgeting, planning for retirement, eliminating debt, and learning how to live within one's financial means. Finally, we will explore the concept of financial independence, the uneasy road to achieving it, and the freedom it can provide.
