Are you preparing for the Honors Thesis or another major project? It's never too early to start planning your work - and the Honors Ignite Proseminar is here to help you launch. Seats are available in multiple sections of Ignite (HNRS 396H) in the second seven-week session of the fall semester. Join us live online to build your project in collaboration with other honors students.
The Ignite Proseminar is a seven-week, one Honors credit course that builds your skills, confidence, and connections as you plan your next major project - your thesis, another capstone project, or a major application. Students work to advance their project from the early stages to a final proposal, with collaborative work to help them:
- Cultivate a mentor relationship with faculty
- Develop project/application materials (Honors Thesis Prospectus, Scholarship Application, Graduate/Professional School Materials)
- Build your support system
- Articulate ideas in a personal statement and "fast pitch"
