The Arizona Board of Regents on Thursday unanimously approved for the University of Arizona to begin constructing a $137-million Honors College complex, described by the school as being a "campus within a campus.". Construction of the massive Honors complex just north of the current school boundaries is scheduled to begin in December and should be completed by August 2019.

The new Honors College building will be the first Residence Life facility to combine housing and dining options.
