FOCUS QUESTIONS

What has been your favorite Honors course or experience that you have been involved with?

I've loved so many - it's hard to pick just one! My freshman year Spring Seminar about Cowboys and the Wild West and MUS 109H about Rock and American Popular Music are probably near the top of my list.

What is something you have done during your time at the University of Arizona of which you are especially proud?

I'm very proud of my involvement in a plethora of on-campus organizations and ability to stay on top of my schoolwork at the same time! College life is extremely busy but so rewarding.

What message do you have for other Honors students on finding their own success?

Get involved! Whether it's a club, research project, conversation with a professor, friendship, etc - take that leap and try something new if it interests you! I am so glad that I had an open mindset coming into college because it opened so many doors for me to have new experiences and find my place at both the University of Arizona and its Honors College.

ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE

"Carly was invaluable during our orientation sessions! She provides an incredible student perspective to our incoming students. She also was so on top of answering questions with responses that are so beneficial to our students. Carly has been so flexible, approachable, and professional. Our orientation sessions would not have been as successful as there were without Carly."

– Catherine Glidden, Academic Advisor II, W. A. Franke Honors College
