A 20-member independent review committee selected this year's group of Udall Scholars on the basis of commitment to careers in the environment, Tribal public policy, or Native health care; leadership potential; record of public service; and academic achievement.

Dr. Kate Alexander (she/her/hers), an assistant professor of practice in the Honors College, is an ethnomusicologist whose work examines the implications of identity within music and dance communities.

Through gifts from The Bill and Dianne Mensch Foundation, Inc., the University of Arizona Honors College is pleased to announce the Mensch Prize for Honors Theses. 

The University of Arizona’s 157th Commencement and 41st Convocation of the Honors College aired live on May 11 at 6 p.m. PT. The ceremony recognized Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 Classes of Honors students at the University of Arizona and celebrate their achievements at the Arizona Stadium.

On May 11 in Arizona Stadium the Honors College will be celebrating the accomplishments of Fall 2020, Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 graduates.
