The Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII) program at the Franke Honors College is a future-focused transdisciplinary dual degree that empowers students to solve the complex problems our society is facing. BCII encourages students to think creatively, critically, collaboratively, and innovatively in an experiential and real-world classroom experience. Through partnerships with industry leaders like Creative Machines, CoreSpaces, Mission Garden, Pima County Economic Development, Noble Reach Foundation, and others, students tackle real challenges — from designing interactive technologies to reimagining urban spaces. These experiences equip graduates with unique future-oriented capabilities and a portfolio of achievements that set them apart from their peers.

Is your organization trying to solve complex problems?

Our partners play an integral role in the BCII experience, providing industry, government and community challenges, internships, and access to valuable networks that prepare our students for successful careers. You will access some of our most creative and innovative students and introduce new ways of thinking through cutting-edge transdisciplinary practices.

You can get involved in many ways, including:

  • Guest lectures: share your experience in a short engagement with our students.
  • Project-based engagement: Pose a complex challenge to our students and have them explore and research using transdisciplinary tools, techniques, and methods to create novel opportunities for you and your organization.
  • Hosting an internship: allow our students to put their theory into practice in your organization.
  • Donating to the program: Support students in the BCII degree program with scholarships and internship funds.

As we look to expand these collaborations, we invite you, our alumni, to help us grow. You and your networks of innovative companies and organizations can open doors to new opportunities, enriching the BCII experience for the next generation of creative thinkers. Let’s work together to shape the future of innovation at the Franke Honors College! If you are interested in connecting with us about the BCII, please reach out via email at HNRS-BCII@arizona.edu. We look forward to partnering with you!
