Honors Earth Movement Day
In collaboration with Residence Life, we are focusing on Environmental Social Justice. Students will have the opportunity to engage in conversation about the environment while volunteering with various non-profits. Our goal is to have 200 students volunteer across Tucson on Saturday, March 28th. You are also encouraged to volunteer and join alongside your students. You are welcome to bring your family/partners to the volunteer experiences.
Here are the organizations we are working with:
- Mission Garden: 9:30-12:00 pm
- Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona: 8:30-12:00 pm
- Trees for Tucson: 8:30-12:00 pm
- Peace Garden 10:00-12:00pm
You can read more about each organization on the sign-up sheet. Please let Lysette Davi know if you are bringing anyone under age 18 before signing up.
