Emma Collier

Program Coordinator, Mentorship and Leadership Initiatives

Emma is a proud alumna of the University of Arizona, earning a dual Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Gender & Women’s studies in 2022. As an undergraduate, Emma discovered a passion for facilitation and mentorship through her work in Housing and Residential Life, as well as a Learning Researching and Teaching Assistant. These environments inspired a lifelong interest in advocacy work and the intersections between systems and individual experiences. After graduating, Emma followed this passion into the classroom, where she worked in Early Childhood Education as a lead teacher in a local preschool. This work deepened and enriched her belief in connection-driven, interest-based learning and peer mentorship. Emma now works for W.A. Franke Honors College in the Partnerships Through Honors (PATH) Peer Mentorship/Leadership Program, where she helps students reflect on their own self-identity, build a strong sense of belonging and community, and expand their leadership and facilitation skills.

Outside of work, Emma has a strong art making practice, where she loves sculpting and multimedia art, and is a voracious reader. You can often spot her at a local café or art market when she isn’t at home playing with her three cats.
