Franke Honors Alternative Spring Break (HASB)

Franke Honors Alternative Spring Break Logo

The W.A. Franke Honors Alternative Spring Break (HASB) is an opportunity to engage in service while learning about real community issues and contributing to problem-solving.

The HASB has been put on pause for spring 2024 as we roll out a new spring break study away program.

Learn more about that program here

The HASB service experience is paired with a 2-unit Spring course designed to inspire lifelong civic engagement through an enriched understanding of diverse perspectives on complex societal issues by interacting with a diverse range of participants and community members. The course meets Mondays from 3:30 - 4:30pm in the Honors Village for the entirety of the Spring semester. The HASB service experience will take place during a portion of the UArizona Spring break.
