The course aims to empower students to critically engage with health inequities by combining artistic expression with community-based research. Through hands-on projects and collaboration, students develop a deeper understanding of social determinants of health while using their creative work as a tool for advocacy and social change. Ultimately, this course fosters critical thinking, civic engagement, and interdisciplinary learning, encouraging students to see health inequities through new perspectives and take action toward meaningful solutions.
