Better Together
The Franke Honors College works with industry and community partners to enhance the student learning experience though internships, degree programs, and venture studios.
Creative Intelligence and Innovation
Franke Honors prides itself in being a leader in higher education. That's why we offer a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII), a dual-degree inspired by the University of Technology Sydney, that pairs with and primary major to foster creative thinking and transdiciplinary problem solving. Each course in the BCII degree and the CII minor works with an industry or community partner to address a challenge question.
BCII Partner Examples
Prosperity Initiative – Pima County Administrator’s Office
Challenge
How might the University of Arizona align its resources, research, and community partnerships to meaningfully support and advance the goals of the Prosperity Initiative across Tucson and Pima County? How can prosperity be redefined and pursued in ways that redistribute power to people who are currently experiencing poverty?
Sonoran Institute
Challenge
The current environment in which the Sonoran Institute must operate, a non-profit conservation organization, is characterized by great volatility, uncertainty and dynamism among many factors. How might this environment evolve in the future and how might these changes impact how Sonoran Institute similarly must adapt?
Center for the Future of Arizona
Challenge
Pathways through K-12 to post-secondary education are a vital part of Arizona’s and the nation’s economy and workforce development. How might the state reimagine the education system and the navigation from and through secondary and post-secondary institutions so that students are not deterred from adjusting their educational and professional goals.
