HONORS STUDENT SPOTLIGHT - MORGAN O'HARA

This fourth year Honors Wildcat Ioves traveling, reading, cooking, spending quality time with my friends, watching rom-coms with my roommates, and playing with her puppy, Chompski. She is currently an Undergraduate Research Fellow with the School of Government and Public Policy under Dr. Faten Ghosn, Associate Professor of International Relations.

THE HONORS FEE

Oct. 6, 2020

When the Honors Fee was put into place in Fall 2010, it set in motion the transformation of the Honors College. With the Honors fee, the college was able to create an advising team; launch the first-year experience; establish new opportunities in research, internships, and study abroad; create new courses, and much more. Today, the Honors Fee supports a broad array of classes, programs, funding, and activities that directly support our students.

This fourth year Honors Wildcat loves staying active, spending time with family and friends and cheering on her Arizona sports teams: Mercury, Cardinals, and DBacks! She is currently involved with Dr. Molly Bolger's MCB lab, where they are redesigning the intro biology lab curriculum and studying STEM persistence.

I didn’t know anything about it, and assumed that it was something only Honors students, like her, applied for. That was totally wrong, and I’m glad I pushed forward because these opportunities are for ALL students.
