This course will expand the ways in which we experience and document the unique culture of cities. We will seek to answer the question of how do we engage with one another and our surroundings as our environments become more complex? Using modern techniques including immersive visualization, digital narratives and interactivity, we will create rich documentary experiences. We will combine traditional technology such as photography, video, and journaling with modern methods such as 3D scanning, virtual, augmented, and mixed reality capture. This course is only for students going on the Honors First Year Trip.
