INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR SECOND ANNUAL DAY OF THE DEAD EVENT
“Siempre nos Queremos” (Beloved Forever)
The Borderlands Education Center (BEC) at the College of Education in partnership with the College of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Planning (CAPLA) and W.A. Franke Honors College is offering a non-credit internship opportunity for undergraduate students to participate in integrating culture, community and ephemeral art based on ancestral Mexican technique and expression. This internship includes participating with two artists from Mexico (Alfombristas Tapestry Artists), co-organizers, local partners, volunteers, and other students. Selected students are expected to work a total of twenty (20) hours from October 31st to November 6th, attend 2- 3 hours online workshops, receive a total stipend of $260.00 and a letter certified the participation in this art design and production.
