Recent spring 2021 Honors Wildcat grad is a Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 40 under 40 awardee recipient.
This second-year Honors Wildcat has worked with Dr. Ruiz's SuRRF Lab, where she helped examine multiracial representation in biomedical research studies throughout the last decade. When she is not doing research you can find her playing guitar, singing, and binge-watching Netflix TV shows.
This second-year Honors Wildcat is Public Health major and is a research assistant in the Sleep and Health Research Program under Dr. Michael Grandner. She is currently focused on investigating the relationship between sleep health disparities and chronic pain conditions in racial/ethnic minority groups. When she is not doing research you can find her in spin classes and having picnics on the mall.
This fourth year Honors Wildcat is double majoring in Anthropology & Religious Studies. He is currently researching and examining changes to the wording of the American Indian category on the 2020 Census. When he isn't conducting research you can find him binge-watching season 1 of Gold Rush on Discovery+.
The Honors College hosts an annual photo contest for students to showcase the amazing sights and transformative experiences they had while studying or traveling abroad.
UBRP provides opportunities for University of Arizona undergraduates to participate in a paid, mentored, summer research program involving inquiry, design, investigation, research, scholarship, discovery, and the presentation of experimental results.
The scholarship provides students full tuition, fees and on-campus housing for four years, as well as funding for other opportunities such as research projects or study abroad.
This fourth-year Honors Wildcat is a beach volleyball student-athlete. When she isn't bump, set, and spiking it on the sands you can find her interning in the TMS Labs Dr. Chou and as mental health ambassador with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
