Visiting Associate Professor of Practice Dr. Jacqueline Melvold has been named the new Compton Chair for Intelligence and Innovation. This endowed faculty position was established through a generous $3.2 million gift made to the W.A. Franke Honors College last fall by Dr. John Lee Compton.

After being accepted into 27 different colleges, Franke Honors Wildcat Anastasia Rastelli chose the University of Arizona for its strengths in the sciences, and film and television. She will also pursue a bachelor's degree in creative intelligence and innovation, a dual degree only offered in the W.A. Franke Honors College.
