First-year students applying to the Honors College for Fall 2022 will not submit ACT or SAT test scores as part of the Honors application process. This continues the policy set for Fall 2021 applicants due to problems accessing test sites and public health concerns.

This fourth-year Honors Wildcat is currently doing working in the Renquist research group since 2017 where he has worked on projects related to lactation, metabolic rate, hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance, asthma, and more. In his free time, you can find him backpacking and hiking in the Tucson mountains.
It is with deep sadness that the Honors College shares the news of the passing of Ellen Melamed, Director of the Medical Humanities Program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. Ellen was a masterful teacher who had a deep and transformative impact on our students.
This senior Honors Wildcat is working on research in the Manufactured Housing Project on Tucson's local housing and urban development. After graduation, Andrea may be attending graduate school or pursuing in internship in Washington, DC. In her free time, you'll find her baking bread or reading on her front porch.
