If you want to start a Quest Project or your Honors Thesis soon, you’ll need a faculty mentor to oversee your project. You want someone with expertise in your area but also someone you feel comfortable working with and collaborating with. How the heck do you find that though??

This workshop is designed to share ideas for how to find a potential faculty mentor for your project and covers the dos and don’ts of communicating with them. We’ll provide you with ideas for what to include in your emails to them, how to request a meeting with them, and how to actually ask them to be your mentor.

Honors Build Day is an opportunity for you to serve in the Tucson community by assisting Habitat for Humanity with building homes for community members. It's a fun day—we work hard and we play hard!

This workshop will cover the ins and outs of proposing your research project—whether you are working on your Thesis Prospectus, Quest Proposal or another research project. We’ll provide you with ideas and resources that will help get your project on track and help you to fill out your prospectus or proposal effectively.

These sessions are open to all Franke Honors students, whether you're getting ready for Quest, and EMG proposal, or need some guidance with the thesis process.

TABS is a transfer student group that meets monthly to discuss issues that impact the Franke Honors transfer student experience. The group is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where transfer students feel welcome, and their contributions are acknowledged and celebrated. TABS is always looking for pathways for transfer students to better integrate into the Franke Honors, University of Arizona, and local Tucson communities through academic, social, and philanthropic endeavors.

Franke Honors Pinnacle is a special event hosted by the W.A. Franke Honors College that highlights incredible Franke Honors student research, including the Honors Thesis work of our Franke Honors graduating seniors and the work of Quest participants. Outstanding research will be acknowledged with financial award for Quest projects, senior thesis work, and creative video representations of senior research.
