Enrolling in Honors Thesis Units
To enroll in honors thesis units, you must work directly with the advisor in the major or minor where you are completing your honors thesis.
For example, if you are completing your honors thesis in your major, you will work with your major academic advisor. If you are completing your honors thesis in your minor, you will work with your minor advisor.
That advisor will guide you through the enrollment process and any documentation you will need to submit. Because enrollment is tied to your specific project and faculty thesis mentor, students cannot enroll themselves in honors thesis units.
Before you enroll
All students are required to submit an honors thesis prospectus to Franke Honors before enrolling in honors thesis units. The honors thesis prospectus is required for every student in the W.A. Franke Honors College who plans to graduate from the college.
Advisors in the W.A. Franke Honors College are only able to assist with honors thesis enrollment for students completing an honors thesis in Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII), Creative Intelligence and Innovation Minor (CII), Health and Human Values Minor (HHV) or Future Earth Resilience Minor (FER).
If your honors thesis is in another major/minor, you will need to coordinate enrollment with your major or minor advisor.
