Apr 22 Image Franke Honors Pinnacle 1 – 3 p.m., April 22, 2026 Join us for Franke Honors Pinnacle, a signature event hosted by the W.A. Franke Honors College celebrating the outstanding research of our undergraduate students. This showcase features the Honors Thesis projects of graduating seniors, Quest research presentations, and creative video representations of other research projects. Outstanding work will be recognized with financial awards in multiple categories, including Quest projects, senior thesis research, and creative video presentations. Whether you’re presenting, attending, or serving as a judge, this is an opportunity to engage with the incredible scholarship happening within the Franke Honors community.
Apr 14 Image Franke Honors Transfer Advisory Board of Students Meeting 5 – 6 p.m., April 14, 2026 TABS is a transfer student group that meets monthly to discuss issues that impact the Franke Honors transfer student experience. The group is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where transfer students feel welcome, and their contributions are acknowledged and celebrated. TABS is always looking for pathways for transfer students to better integrate into the Franke Honors, University of Arizona, and local Tucson communities through academic, social, and philanthropic endeavors.

Apr 09 Image Hungering for Health: Craving Food, Culture, and Meaning in the Ozempic Era 5 – 8 p.m., April 9, 2026 By muting hunger and recalibrating blood sugar, Ozempic and other GLP-1 drugs offer life-saving tools to address chronic health conditions like diabetes and obesity. This program invites participants to explore what it means to hunger – for nourishment, belonging, and balance – in an age of pharmaceutical “fixes.” Join us for an evening that brings together scholars, clinicians, culinarians, and community members to explore the meaning of appetite and nourishment through science, story, and sensory experience. By mixing art, food, and conversation, we’ll reflect on the possibilities that emerge when we consider metabolism as a bridge between science and meaning, the body and the world.

Apr 03 Image Thesis Support Space 2 – 4 p.m., April 3, 2026 New this semester: the Franke Thesis Support Space! Every other Friday afternoon, Franke Honors will be providing a dedicated space for thesis students to work on their thesis, ask questions of a Franke Honors staff member, get access to resources, and connect with others. Every month will be themed towards parts of the thesis process and feature guided activity and insight from experts in that area. This time and space is open to seniors currently working on their thesis.
Apr 02 Image Arizona Fulbright Reception 4 – 6 p.m., April 2, 2026 Join us for an evening of cultural exchange and insightful conversations at the Fulbright Reception, held in the vibrant ambiance of the Honors Village courtyard. This special event will feature distinguished guests as well as a dynamic panel comprising Fulbright recipients from the U.S. Student Program, U.S. Scholar Program, and Specialist Program.
