Nationally, the African-American Read-In is an effort to encourage communities to read together and center African American books and authors. This year, the Franke Honors College is hosting a read-in, centering African-American poets. You are encouraged to select a poem written by an African-American person, read it, and share why you selected it and what it means to you.
