Engage in debates, analyze films like "Her," "Ex Machina," and "The Matrix," and challenge yourself with a 24-hour tech detox. We'll explore the psychological and emotional ties we share with our devices and platforms. What does it mean for AI to possess sentience? Can VR be an "empathy machine" combating societal prejudices? Guided by theories such as technological determinism and social construction of technology, you'll critically dissect the bond between humanity and technology. Ideal for those eager to grasp the digital age, this course offers historical insights, practical experiences, and innovative theories. Join us to decode the complexities of our electronic existence.
