This course focuses on leadership in the context of non-profit organizations in our local community. Students will learn how leadership emerges and how it evolves in different efforts and initiatives that impact diverse pathways. Students will reflect on the opportunities and challenges of community and non-profit settings as change agents through the development of a final project that will contribute to the agenda of a local and non-profit organization. In addition, students will meet and work with local leaders from these non-profit organizations and our local community to develop this final project.
