Gabrielle Karcheski
Gabrielle works with W.A. Franke Honors students with last names beginning with A, B, and C. She is dedicated to assisting each student individually and with care, to find their unique pathway to success during and after their time as a Wildcat.
Gabrielle is from Tucson and a graduate of the University of Arizona Honors College. She studied Art History and Spanish as an undergraduate and completed her Honors Thesis on the topic of museum studies. During college, she participated in multiple campus clubs, worked in two on-campus jobs, and had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain during her final term. Following college, Gabrielle moved to Chile to teach English as a foreign language. She then received two Fulbright grants to teach English for post-secondary students in Medellín and Barranquilla, Colombia. Gabrielle went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Adult Education at San Francisco State University to continue working one-on-one with diverse adult learners, to expand their opportunities and equity.
In her free time, Gabrielle likes to read, spend time with her family and cat, attend concerts, and provide hot takes on pop culture. She also loves to travel, having visited more than 15 countries.
