Ishnoor Sandhu

Ishnoor Sandhu is a senior majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Physiology. She is originally from Solon, Ohio, but also spent half her life in Canada. Ishnoor is involved in various activities on campus, including her role as the co-president and co-founder of the Youth Health Advocates Club, College of Science Ambassador, and THINK TANK tutor. Ishnoor also serves as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Anne Cress’ cancer biology lab, which is focused on uncovering the molecular and cellular drivers for prostate cancer metastasis. She also enjoys playing badminton, painting, listening to music, and working out. After college, Ishnoor will pursue her dream of becoming a surgeon at the College of Medicine - Tucson as part of HEAP Cohort 7!
