Ishnoor Sandhu

Ishnoor Sandhu is a junior majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Physiology. She is originally from Solon, Ohio, but also spent half her life in Canada. Ishnoor is involved in various activities on campus, including her role as the co-president and co-founder of the Youth Health Advocates Club, vice-president of the Undergraduate Journal Club, and the clinical chair for PSIO Club for the second year. Ishnoor also serves as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Anne Cress’ cancer biology lab, which is focused on uncovering the molecular and cellular drivers for prostate cancer metastasis. She also enjoys playing badminton, painting, listening to music, and soaking in the Tucson sunsets. After college, Ishnoor aspires to attend medical school to become a physician.
