PATH Mentoring Experience: Former PATH Mentee, 1st Year Mentor
I Mentor Because… I know how powerful it can be when someone takes the time to help you navigate uncertainty, growth, and transition. As a first-generation student, veteran, and nontraditional student, mentorship has helped me build confidence, direction, and community during important moments in my life. I want to offer that same kind of grounded support to others while continuing to grow as a leader, listener, and member of the PATH community.
I enjoy connecting with people and creating a space where others feel comfortable asking questions, being themselves, and finding their place. I want to be a mentor because I care about building community and helping others feel supported and confident as they start college.
