Aria Lahr

As an academic advisor, Aria works with honors students with last names beginning with D-H. She supports students throughout their journeys, connecting with them and providing insight into different opportunities and resources to help them achieve their goals.

Aria grew up in Columbia City, IN before receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. She would later earn her Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. During her graduate studies, Aria was heavily involved in student success, the first-year experience, research, and assessment. She hopes to bring these experiences and passion to students at the W.A. Franke Honors College to help them get the most out of their journey.

Outside of work, Aria spends her free time caring for her two cats, Pepper and Ahsoka, gaming with her friends, hiking trails, and finding new books to read. As a newcomer to the Tucson area, she also loves trying new restaurants; recommendations are always welcome!
