The Franke Book Club will give students the opportunity to read and discuss a variety of literature throughout the academic year. Sep 22 Image Sankofa Scholars Meeting 5 – 6 p.m., Sept. 22, 2026 Please join us for this regularly scheduled meeting of the Sankofa Scholars, a group of students committed to celebrating Black culture and excellence in the W.A. Franke Honors College. Sep 22 Image PATH: Crafting Community 7 – 9 p.m., Sept. 22, 2026 There's no such thing as a bad painting! Come create some happy little trees, mysterious mountain creatures, or whatever your imagination brings you as we gather to honor Bob Ross with some creative art. Supplies will be available; you bring your ideas. This fun painting session will take place in 1068/1067. You'll move through the core skills of early-stage venture building — identifying a real problem, testing your assumptions, developing a solution, and taking your first shot at pitching it — all in one intensive and energizing day.
