Where

The W.A. Franke Honors College is excited to host Bridging Borders: A Tortilla Press Printmaking Workshop.

Join this collaborative relief printmaking workshop, led by School of Arts students, Ana Paula Monobe and Linda Garcia Escobar.

Participants will have the opportunity to design and print their own artist print and/or tote bag using relief printing techniques. These prints will also contribute to a collaboratively made patchwork artwork, to be displayed in the Franke Honors College.

No drawing or printmaking experience is needed to attend!

Ana and Linda will share their own expertise as artists and thinkers. Both Ana and Linda explore alternative art-making techniques tied to their Latin American Heritage and creative practices.

Thank you for the generous support of the Confluence Center for Creative Inquiry, the U of A School of Art, the U of A Museum of Art and the W.A Franke Honors College
