The Franke Lavender Scholars are dedicated to exploring queer culture and history from an academic perspective.
Franke Lavender Scholars will be hosting Professor Natasha Warner from the Department of Linguistics to talk about the science and acoustics behind the perception of gender and sexual orientation through speech. Dr. Warner specializes in language revitalization, phonetics, and psycholinguistics.
