This fourth year Franke Honors Wildcat conducts research in Dr. Li Orthopedic Wrist Surgery and Biomechanical Engineering Lab. His current research projects are focused on figuring out how to use minimally invasive surgery via enzymatic degradation to alleviate symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome and analyzing joint spacing in arthritis patients. In his free time he loves to play basketball and go on adventures near Tucson.

Fulbright Week, a collaborative campus effort to promote Fulbright opportunities for students, staff, and faculty! Fulbright Week 2022 takes place from
April 4-8. 

This junior has had the incredible opportunity to work in two research labs so far as a Franke Honors Wildcat. In his free time, he usually goes for a run around campus, works out at the Rec, or learns music production and mixing!

On February 15, 2022 the Pima County Board of Supervisors officially recognized Black History Month in Pima County, and W.A. Franke Honors College Assistant Dean of Programs, Diversity, and Inclusion Dr. Cheree Meeks and NAACP President of Tucson was invited to accept the proclamation.

This fourth-year Honors Wildcat has been involved in research in the advanced manufacturing lab since her freshman year. In her free time, she loves to garden, spend time outdoors, and bake–her favorite baking creation is mini chocolate cheesecakes!
