UArizona students Madison Diaz, Hunter Henry, Karen Ornelas, and Nadira Mitchell were recently accepted into the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program Collaborative.

Andrea Lara-Garcia is one of 13 graduating seniors or recent graduates named 2021 James C. Gaither Junior Fellows. 

Dr. John Pollard Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Curricular Innovation was awarded the Gerald J. Swanson Prize for Teaching Excellence.

A 20-member independent review committee selected this year's group of Udall Scholars on the basis of commitment to careers in the environment, Tribal public policy, or Native health care; leadership potential; record of public service; and academic achievement.

Dr. Kate Alexander (she/her/hers), an assistant professor of practice in the Honors College, is an ethnomusicologist whose work examines the implications of identity within music and dance communities.

Through gifts from The Bill and Dianne Mensch Foundation, Inc., the University of Arizona Honors College is pleased to announce the Mensch Prize for Honors Theses. 

The University of Arizona’s 157th Commencement and 41st Convocation of the Honors College aired live on May 11 at 6 p.m. PT. The ceremony recognized Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 Classes of Honors students at the University of Arizona and celebrate their achievements at the Arizona Stadium.
