Beyond the Idea: What It Takes to Build a Venture

This week’s Venture Studio workshop covers two things. First, a short overview of Series B: what it involves and how to apply. Second, a big-picture look at what founders deal with after the idea: go-to-market strategy, legal basics (business structure, operating agreements, intellectual property, insurance), financing, and operations and scaling. Each topic gets a brief introduction. At the end, you’ll vote on the two topics you want to go deeper on, and those will be the focus of the next two weeks’ workshops.

Open to all Honors students. No prior experience or startup idea required.
