The U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce a new paid student internship program beginning with the Fall 2022 internship season.

This Women’s History Month, we featured just a few of the many wonderful women in the W.A. Franke Honors College. Below are the full interviews of a Franke Honors student, faculty member and staff member. They were asked about their experiences and advice in their respective field.

Fulbright Week, a collaborative campus effort to promote Fulbright opportunities for students, staff, and faculty! Fulbright Week 2022 takes place from
April 4-8. 

This junior has had the incredible opportunity to work in two research labs so far as a Franke Honors Wildcat. In his free time, he usually goes for a run around campus, works out at the Rec, or learns music production and mixing!

On February 15, 2022 the Pima County Board of Supervisors officially recognized Black History Month in Pima County, and W.A. Franke Honors College Assistant Dean of Programs, Diversity, and Inclusion Dr. Cheree Meeks and NAACP President of Tucson was invited to accept the proclamation.

This fourth-year Honors Wildcat has been involved in research in the advanced manufacturing lab since her freshman year. In her free time, she loves to garden, spend time outdoors, and bake–her favorite baking creation is mini chocolate cheesecakes!
