In a unique study, University of Arizona astronomy students searched 101 clouds of gas to find those that may be in the first phases of forming massive stars.

Honors Senior Dino Kadich will study at Cambridge after being awarded the prestigious Gates Cambridge Scholarship.

Twelve Wildcats received awards for 2017-2018, placing the UA among the top 45 research universities in the U.S. for Fulbright students. In order for a university to be considered a top producer, at least 10 students or recent graduates must be granted a Fulbright award for the academic year.

Namrah Habib’s first internship came in the second semester of her freshman year at the University of Arizona, when she was hired as an image processing intern. Her job was to count rocks. Four years later, she is counting the scholarships she is being awarded for her undergraduate work as an Aerospace and Chemical Engineering double major.

The Honors College has a new study abroad program to Easter Island led by Dean Terry L. Hunt.  Applications are due on February 25th!
